Cushion cover

Hi friends, I have a very bad habit of working on multiple projects at the same time. But I do this basically to break the monotony.
When we do different things at the same time, you tend to do all perfectly because the interest persists till the end. So another idea I am planning to try is a cushion cover using four square clothes of two different patterns together.
These are the two clothes I will be using alternatively.

I am planning to do this design.
I have finished the first square using Chain as filling stitch, lazy daisy, stem and button hole stitch.

I have finished one side of the cover.
I have attached a lining cloth to the side. I have also added a flap of cloth for the overlap.
Second side of the cover  in steps.
Here you can see the two alternative pattern cloths stitched together.. Next step is to attach these two pieces.

Now for the lining.

Now these two are attached to each other.

Now I will attach the two sides to get the cushion cover I had planned..

Scarf

Hi friends, I have always wanted to learn crocheting. My daughter taught me how to. Last week I got a nice fancy colored woollen yarn so I started a scarf for my daughter.
I am using Cluster stitch which I learnt from a video posted by Bella Coco in YouTube.
I have finished more than half of it and thought I would share it with you.

Here is a close up of the stitch
I have used 5 balls of wool to get around 1.20metres of length of the scarf.

Applique stitching can be fun

Hi friends,
Appliques are my new passion now. I was browsing through YouTube when I came across a new channel Afreen creations.
Friends do see this channel and try it out.
I have tried out a motif on my cushion cover and I loved it.
