Button Patti

Today I stitched a neck pattern on this dress. First I stitched the lining cloth on the right side and turned it in. 

Taking the contrast colour cloth of the pant I first folded the raw edge and put a stitch along the edge. 

Then I kept it along the neck design and stitched with a gap of 1/2 a centimeter on the right side. 

Now flip the green colour piping cloth into the wrong side and stitch along the edge. 

For the buttons cut the piping into 2inch length pieces and fold into half. 

Stitch to fix the folded halves and keep under the neck edge and stitch by hand.

 On the other side fix the button by hand.

Now keep a small piece of cloth say of width 1 1/2inch  and length 4inches on the wrong side of the top and stitch along the inside of the piping edge  in such a way that the slit along the button Patti is sealed.
