Kutchwork basic square - -Filling

Here is the procedure to fill the motif.

 The needle is inserted in the center of the square. Next move is to weave through the extended arm of the square.

This way the thread is looped through the first edge of the square. 

Ideally we move in an anti clock wise   direction.

 

As you can see this technique is very simple. Bring the needle through the centre of the square a little towards the corner,  then weave the needle through the extended arm of the square  and move under the next arm of the square ,then again under the extende arm and so on.

  Care should be taken that the thread in the middle of the square also follow the up and down procedure to give a mat finish..
