Kutchwork_basic square motif - - Basic motif making

First step is to make a square.

Draw a square. 

Fix the thread in one point

Now insert the needle from a point a little away from the edge of the square and bring it out at the edge of the square. 



Keep in mind that the thread should be below the needle.

   For the next stitch pull the thread below the needle to the next edge of the square. 

The basic purpose of pulling the thread below the needle is that you will know which edge to work on next. 

The basic square is done. Now to fill the design  .
