Kutchwork sixteen square motif grid

You can see the sixteen square motif which should be worked out like four square motif adjacent to each other. 

As you can see I have started the first square  and as we move on to the next one we pass through the centre square. 

As I complete the second square I have to pass through the centre square thereby completing one square of the centre four square motif. 

In the above picture I have completed the third square  and am moving on to the fourth square thereby completing another square of the centre square motif. 

As I work on the fourth square I have finished another square of the centre square. 

Moving on to the first incomplete square by finishing the last of the centre square.
